Poly Gels for nails have been out since 2017 but are slowly making their reappearance back in 2019. Poly gels are a nail enhancement that can be applied to you nails instead of getting acrylic nail application. Poly gels are not like acrylic. They don’t harden up until cured by a UV lamp or light. Late in 2018 and into 2019, more nail technicians are switching over to poly gels because of the easy application and unlike acrylic they do not cure so fast. Many people like to get these cool designed in their nails and poly gels makes it easier to do so because poly gels do not dry up so fast. Although poly gels are a very good application, some nail techs are still using the traditional acrylic application.
