Knot less box braids are just a braided hairstyle that usually African Americans wear but are starting to became diverse throughout all races.
Box Braids are a hairstyle for women if they want to be versatile. Most natural women wear box braids or other braided styles if they want to take a break from doing there natural hair. Box Braids can also be versatile as if you want to put it in a ponytail, wear it down, braid it up,put it in a bun etc. There are many different hairstyles that you can do with box braids. Traditional box braids are 3 stranded braids using extensions. With traditional Box Braids, it is noticeable that you have added in extensions in your hair. To achieve this look, you use extension braiding hair. With knot less box braids, you use extension hair but you cant really tell that it is extensions added on. Box braids are the same as knot less box braids its just a different technique.
Traditional box braids have a knot at the beginning (as shown in the picture above) so switching over to knot less box braids is a very nice way to go if you do not like how it looks. Most people don’t really like the fact that there is a knot at the beginning and now its fixed .I personally think hat the knot less box braids are a good addition. They are very nice compared to the regular box braids as people always ask me if my hair is “weave”. I think that it is a very good edition to natural hairstyles. Now when I walk around, I don’t have to walk around telling people that its extensions, I can leave it up to them to wonder if it is or not.
